App Lock for iPhone too
If you are using an iPhone, the biggest problem you may have is that the iOS operating system does not have an App Lock like the Android operating system does. So today in this article we are going to talk about a simple solution to this problem.
For this we use the same facility that we get from Timer. You know when the timer ends we are dropped into the lock screen. Here we automate this event so that it takes us to the Lock Screen even when an app is open.
So now let’s see how this works. First open your Clock App. Then select the Timer and set “Stop Playing” to “When Timer Ends”.
Now open the Shortcuts App. Then select the Automation option and go to the “+” sign in the upper right corner.
Go to the “Create Personal Automation” option from the next two options.
Now go to “App” from the options you have.
Go to the next “Choose” and select the apps you want to lock.
Now you have to setup the timer. All you have to do is select “Start Timer” from the options that appear when you search for “Timer” in the search bar here.
Now set the timer to one second as you see in the photo below.
Now you can turn off the “Ask Before Running” here.
That’s right. So you can turn off this automation at any time and change the selected apps to lock. But the most important thing to remember is that when you turn on the Automation and put music in the Timer in the Clock App, when you open the locked apps, instead of going to the Lock Screen, music will start playing. Remember that too.
